Last April 2023, at the Westin Hotel in Lima, the new Board of Directors of the Peruvian Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Allied Industries (Asociación Peruana de Hoteles, Restaurantes y Afines) was inaugurated. One of the highlights of the evening was the election of José Casapia Bardales as treasurer of the Board of Directors, a position he will hold until 2025.
The Peruvian Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Similar Institutions is an organization of great importance in the Peruvian tourism sector. Founded on November 22, 1943, it is the oldest association in the sector and was officially recognized by Supreme Resolution on May 4, 1944.
José Casapía Bardales, current Institutional Relations Manager of NOVOMATIC Peru, has extensive experience in the entertainment sector, as well as in the management of institutional relations. His experience and knowledge make him a valuable member of the Board of Directors.
The new Executive Board of the Peruvian Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Related Industries will be formed by Pablo García, who will be the president of the association, accompanied by Fredy Gamarra Elías as vice-president, Gaby Fiorini and Liliana Picaso Salinas as first and second vice-president, respectively. In addition, Gabriela Kanashiro will be the secretary director and Giannina Robinson Díaz, Ramiro Salas Bravo, Fernando Calderón Castro and Vicente Flores Rázuri will act as members.
The Peruvian Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Related Industries aims to promote the value of hospitality, gastronomy and Peruvian culture in order to make tourism in the country a worldwide reference. The Board of Directors elected at this ceremony, composed of experienced professionals in the sector, is committed to working towards this goal and consolidating the country's position in the international tourism market.
