After an impressive call, NOVOMATIC summarized what ICE London 2023 meant: The
best, most attended and, by far, the largest edition in history. The NOVOMATIC Group was
delighted with the success achieved on the exhibition grounds and with obtaining two first prizes
in key categories of the prestigious European Casino Awards.
Gumpoldskirchen, February 16, 2023 – In retrospect, the general consensus is unanimous: the
three days of busy and bustling business at ICE London 2023 ended too quickly. And
what a pity that the magnificent new NOVOMATIC stand had to be dismantled! It was the
largest ICE fair in every sense: 51,466 m2 of space, a number of visitors estimated
at more than 40,000 and, for NOVOMATIC, the most successful gaming fair in history.
Visitors were amazed by the sophisticated design of the largest stand at the fair.
On this occasion, NOVOMATIC introduced a marked concept of elegance with a
jet black hue and excellent visibility of the different areas dedicated to the various segments
and markets of the industry. Products and systems for land-based and AWP casinos, biometric-powered casino management systems
with modern access solutions and
secure cash handling solutions, as well as sports betting and iGaming solutions and much more.
The center of the stand was reserved for one of the Group’s big bets. Under the slogan
“BLACK IS BACK”, NOVOMATIC announced the international launch of the new BLACK EDITION II cabinet series
. Coined as the successor to the well-known “Black Edition”, it presents more
flexibility in 3 versions that will make people talk: BLACK EDITION II 3.27 is the smallest, followed
by the extra large BLACK EDITION II XL 3.32 and the single screen version BLACK EDITION II
1.49J. All of them with an exciting and sophisticated design; Perfectly angled screens and
crisp gaming presentation set against the backdrop of a Black Metro finish and
contrasting LED lighting. In the central part of the casino area, the BLACK EDITION II 1.49J cabinet unveiled
another of the great highlights of the fair: the characters from the games Candelas
de los Muertos™, Señorita Suerte and Señor Muerte, accompanied by a photobooth dedicated
to recreating the Day of the Dead in the best Mexican style. The two colorful titles are available
as individual games, as well as being part of the new linked NOVO LINE
CASH CONNECTION™ Edition 4 progressive mix – and were also a highlight of
Greentube’s iGaming offering.
Another novelty at ICE was the MASTER SL™ slant top in its 2.32 and 3.32 versions. This solution comes
as an innovative option for operators to achieve more variety in their gaming rooms. In London ,
it was launched with NOVO LINE™ Interactive Editiones X3
and
European Casino
Awards in the “Best Slot Game” category.
The DIAMOND X™ 1.55J was exhibited with the exclusive The
DIAMOND X™ 2.32 multi-screen version introduced the GOLDEN LINK™ progressive mixes. Other
new mixes shown were MONEY PARTY™ with American games very
popular in international markets, the ULTRA BOOST LINK™ multigame, Impera-Line HD™
Edition 9 and Series 2 of the best-selling jackpot, IMPERA LINK™, with the cabinet BLACK EDITION II
2.32.
New features were also presented in the area dedicated to ETG with the new LOTUS
SL™ 1.27 and EXECUTIVE SL™ 1.27 slant tops and the new high-speed Multi-Roulette for the
Novo Unity™ platform.
Another first place at the European Casino Awards went to the NOVOVISION™ casino management system
in the “Best CMS/Software Product” category. This powerful system was placed right
in the heart of the booth where it displayed its extensive set of tools for efficient
casino management. The functionalities include a wide range of solutions designed for
automation, detailed analysis and sophisticated optimization of room performance,
taking into account all the responsibilities and requirements of today’s casino operations
in terms of player protection, responsible gaming and reporting. It also offers
modern biometric access and Player Tracking solutions for live gaming tables.
